Rotisserie Instant Pot Chicken

Yes, you can "fry" a whole chicken in your instant pot. I discovered that by accident, when I had to cook a whole chicken before a long journey.

It's easy: Season your chicken and set the Instant Pot to Sauté mode (high). Brown on both sides, then add 1 cup of chicken broth and herbs like thyme. Then switch the instant pot to print mode (high) for 25 minutes. Get the pressure off naturally, and in less than an hour you'll have a crisp chicken.

Instant Pot Apple Crunchy

This Instant Pot Apple Crisp recipe is great because it's easy to make and versatile. You can eat it hot or cold, alone or with ice cream or yoghurt, and it serves as a breakfast and dessert. I usually make a double recipe because my family eats it up so fast.

Instant Pot creamy coconut touch of steel

This is still a great success for all coconut lovers Women in our family (me, my 18-year-old and two 12-year-olds). Simply more than normal old oatmeal, simple, fast and so hearty and healthy. Plus no gluten, provided you pick the right oat.

Greek yogurt

The Yogurt Button was more of a reason to buy the IP than I've left. We spent more money than I would allow yogurt every week for me and my son. This recipe is not only super easy to prepare, I also know exactly what's important . Boil the milk, add an appetizer and some sweetener, draw for 8.5 hours and strain. Boom. Done.

Chili

What are you using your instant pot for now and why is not it chili? This Drew Magary recipe is a great base for a good chili, as long as you're not one of those skyline chili crazies. I've been experimenting with variations for years, and as long as you keep beans and spices, you can bring in just about anything else you want. And no, you do not want to see a photo, because all the chili, no matter how delicious, look disgusting.

Pulled chicken

This recipe is a crowd pleaser and all in takes about 30 minutes, even of frozen chicken thighs. Compared with 4 hours to cook the same in a standard slow cooker, the instant pot version is a breeze and perfect for any school night. Heck, we served this for our Christmas dinner last year. Oh, and despite the fact that the recipe says "pop," that should not mean you can use anything. Use cola. Stay away from root beer.

Hard Boiled Eggs

My instant pot is my favorite tool when it comes to food preparation for the week and boiled eggs are one of my favorite foods for cooking in large quantities. I follow the 5-5-5 method I first heard about in the Instant Pot Facebook group: 5 minutes of steaming, 5 minutes of natural pressure relief, 5 minutes of cooling in an ice bath. Works like a charm and gives me protein …

Kalua Pork

This recipe is absolutely delicious. It's really the perfect pulled pork for tacos, sandwiches – or on its own. I would strongly recommend getting a boneless pork shoulder to facilitate cutting in half and definitely frying the meat before you boil it under pressure.

Instant Pot Chicken in Lemon and Basil Sauce

I'm on an adventure to find so many different ways I can cook chicken in my instant pot (I'm on Day 94 of my adventure.) This Williams Sonoma recipe made great use of Meyer Lemons that I can grow in my garden in Silicon Valley. I served it over a handful of fresh spinach. Conclusion: delicious.

Moroccan Chicken

I received my instant pot about six months ago and it has become an ally to prepare delicious dinners for the entire working week and again eat healthy.

My latest obsession is this Moroccan chicken recipe, because it's a complete meal. It only takes 40 minutes to finish it and I think it's great that it has great spices cherries and quinoa. I advise you to follow the quinoa instructions, as you may need to adjust the broth so that there is no liquid left. I have impressed my friends with the last minute dinner plans and this is always a hit thanks to the complex flavors and textures. Buen provecho!
