Alexa can find her keys, which are always lost.

When you get home, you can just drop your keys somewhere without thinking about it. However, all the time you spend looking for your keys can be tedious. Fortunately, you can use Alexa to find your keys if you're in a hurry. You need to connect a RFID device to your keychain and then pair it with Alexa.

You can also drop your keys somewhere and immediately activate your echo to tell your position placed them. Say, for example, "Alexa, remember I put my keys in the basket through the TV."

Alexa can talk to her cats and dogs.

Your pets come in everything, so entertain them with your Amazon Echo.

Alina Bradford / CNET

Worried about your furry best friends when you're at work all day? They probably miss you too. Why should not Alexa entertain her while you're gone? You need to download a skill in the Alexa app. Meow! for cat lovers and shot! For dog lovers.

Alexa acts as a virtual cat or dog and converses with her pet by meowing or barking. Alexa can start the "conversation" and as soon as your pet responds, the virtual assistant continues to mimic the animal noises. Just say "Alexa, activate Meow or Bark" and your pets will be entertained throughout the day.

If you prefer talking to your pets, you can always use the drop-in function to wag your dog's tail. You must enable this feature in the Alexa app on the Communicate tab. Once activated, you can say, "Alexa, drop by Echo Plus ($ 150 on Amazon) ."

Alexa, what should I wear today?

Not everyone has time to check the weather in the morning. If you're under time pressure, ask Alexa if you should wear rain boots or sandals, pants or shorts, a jacket or a T-shirt. Activate the Dress Right feature in the Alexa app to get the wardrobe information you need.

First, say "Alexa, ask Dress Right about an outfit idea," or "Alexa, dress right, ask me what to wear today." It will then give you the weather forecast and an outfit based on the weather. For example, Alexa might ask you to wear a white dress or a gray shirt and linen shorts.

Medication Reminders

Similar to the Keys That You Always Place Incorrectly Alexa can remind you to take your medications and what medications you need to take. You can set a reminder, for example, to take your blood pressure medication at 4:00 pm. and Alexa will remind you. You may also tell Alexa that you have taken your medicine, and if you later do not remember if you have taken it, Alexa will let you know that you have already taken it.

See you, writer's block.

We were all there – you're trying to complete this essay or report by tomorrow morning, but you can not even get a sentence out. It's called writer's block and most people will experience it someday. Fortunately, there is an Alexa ability called typing motivation that can help you increase motivation.

If you have the ability activated, say "Alexa, open writing motivation" and you will get a writing coach. Alexa will give you witty motivation like "Thinking in an hour, you could have written 1000 words instead of having a blank piece of paper." Alexa will ask if you need more motivation to answer "yes" or "no".
