The "Save The Food" skill in the Alexa app can explain how to store certain foods and when to throw them away. Just say "Alexa, ask Save The Food how to store avocados" or "Alexa, ask Save The Food if it's okay to wither celery." Then use a skill like AllRecipes to plan meals based on the foods you already have in the fridge.

To stay healthy, it's a must to get hydrated. Water helps digest the foods you eat, distribute nutrients to your vital organs, keep your skin radiant and fuller.
However, you may not always remember to drink water all day, especially when you are in a difficult time. Alexa can help here. You can ask your Amazon Echo (or Alexa in the Alexa app when you're not at home) to remind you to drink a glass of water every hour, and you can download a capability like Water Log to keep track of how much water you have you have been drinking all day.
Falling asleep can be a challenge when you have a hundred tasks to do in your head. Use your Amazon Echo to distract you with rain and relaxation sounds.
Just say "Alexa, play rainy sounds" and your echo starts playing soothing rainy sounds. If you prefer other nature sounds such as barbecues, you can choose the ability to sleep with over 125 sounds.
