If you can not save an image with an app like Instagram, it's best to take a screenshot. But then you are stuck with the rest of what was on your screen, so you have to go in and crop it to the picture. From now on, your Samsung device can automatically do this for you.
Every Galaxy device with the One UI 2 update (also known as Android 10) has the new Smart Cropping feature. Try a screenshot on your Galaxy to try out, and then tap the crop and edit button in the menu overlay shown below. In edit mode, the system automatically recognizes the photo in the screenshot and highlights the approximate edges. From there, you can resize by dragging your finger over the highlighted edge.
If you're happy with the cropping, click the blue crop button in the top right corner and tap "Save" at the top to save the image in your gallery. And that's it!
