With the release of iOS 12, Do Not Disturb has received long-overdated enhancements to make the feature more user-friendly. These changes also include a subtle yet incredibly handy feature that will allow you to stay undisturbed for a short while and focus more on your task.
Do not disturb can now be set in one-hour increments, which is incredibly useful for shorter events that require your utmost attention, such as improvised meetings, a class, or church services. Do not disturb for one hour only
It could not be easier to quickly turn on Do Not Disturb for one hour ̵
Not to pull up your iPhone's Control Center by either swiping up from the bottom of the screen (iPhone 8 Plus and below) or swiping down from the top right corner (iPhone X and up). For more information about the latter, see the following link:
When the Control Center appears, either 3D Touch (iPhone 6S and up) or Long Press (iPhone 6 or earlier) appears on the crescent-shaped Do Not Disturb icon to show more options. In the prompt that appears, select "For 1 hour" and the "Do Not Disturb" icon color will be inverted to indicate the active status.
You can now leave the Control Center and perform your tasks undisturbed. The best part of this feature is that it's automated, meaning that Do Not Disturb automatically turns off after exactly one hour. So the risk of manually disabling the feature and missing out on important calls is now out of the way, so you do not have to worry about anything.
