As one of the household brands for creative software, Adobe is now ready to claim the artistic side of augmented reality.
Coinciding with the launch of the annual Adobe Max conference, Adobe Project Aero made its official statement on Monday. Adobe released the Aero app for iOS in the background on Friday.
Available on the App Store for devices that are at least ARKit 2.0 compliant and running version 13.2.1 of iOS or iPadOS. With Aero, users can create AR experiences directly through the app via a visual interface and without additional coding.
"Immersive media is proving to be a powerful medium for storytelling and changing the way we interact with the world around us. Ext-generation experiences," said Stefano Corazza , AR director at Adobe, in a blog post.
"Everything is becoming a creative canvas for the millions of people who want to tell their stories in a new and exciting way – artists can build deeper emotional connections, and brands can connect with their customers in a more meaningful way AR turns the impossible into a new reality, and the only limit is our imagination.
