On our way to summer we can look forward to two things: the warmer weather and the release of the latest OnePlus device. This time, OnePlus will have a hard time doing, as the 6T is one of the best phones in years. Based on the latest rumors they are up to the challenge.
Partnering with T-Mobile, the OnePlus 6T is in the hands of millions of Americans who have never heard of the brand before. That's what makes OnePlus 7 so important. For many, this will be the OnePlus update cycle for the first time. If the changes are small or the price is too high, they will be left to the larger OEMs. But if they can make a worthy successor, they will have lifetime fans and slowly increase their market share in the US.

The OnePlus 7 will be almost without a frame. The front-facing camera now jumps out of the frame and leaves more room for the 6.5-inch screen. The rear cameras were upgraded to three cameras this time, with the main camera being a 48 MP sensor. It will continue to use the all-glass design with aluminum frames and is powered by a huge 4,000 mAh battery.
Currently we do not know when the 7 will be announced. Based on previous releases, we estimate May 2019. While OnePlus 3 and 5 were released in June, OnePlus 6 was displaced until May. We're counting on a repeat of this timeline with OnePlus 7 pre-order and announcement dates both expected in May, pre-orders will be live within a week of their announcement.
- Release Date: May 2019
- Pre-Order Date: May 2019
- Announced: May 2019
Although there are no rumors about specifications, we can make some assumptions about the storage capacity. OnePlus continues to push the limits of available internal memory, especially due to the lack of support for microSD hard drives. We believe that OnePlus 7 will have a base of 256GB. While it's possible for them to stick to 128GB of internal storage, we think OnePlus is usually ahead in this regard.
With more phones, including 512GB of memory, and Samsung making a 1TB phone, we assume that OnePlus also includes these options (the 1TB options depend on whether Samsung has it
- Memory Available: 256 GB, 512 GB
- Expandable Memory: No
OnePlus is aware of the ever-increasing prices. Every year, fans see the price of the latest OnePlus phone increase slightly, further narrowing the gap between it and the flagship of the same year. We expect it to be no different this year, with alleged specifications, including some significant upgrades, that should require a substantial price increase.
We speculate that the price will rise from $ 50 to $ 70 to $ 629 to $ 649. With the supposedly forward-looking pop-up camera, a triple back camera array on the back, a large battery and a possibly improved in-display fingerprint scanner, there is little chance that OnePlus can work even better and still make a profit ,
At this price, it would still be cheaper than almost all other US flagships. We're talking about $ 250- $ 270 cheaper than the Samsung Galaxy S10 and $ 50- $ 80 cheaper than the Nokia 9 PureView with its year-long SoC.
Giztop has released a listing of the phone with a price of $ 569. If this is the case, the company could lower the price of their phone for the first time. OnePlus phones were known for these early releases from online stores with mixed results. Take this with a grain of salt. While a lower price may be possible with the success of the T-Mobile partnership, it is still unlikely.
- Price: $ 569-649 (Base Model)
Based on leaked images and In previous iterations, we expect OnePlus to continue the all-glass design language of the OnePlus 6T. We already know that the back of the glass is not a sign of wireless charging, as CEO Pete Lau has already confirmed that OnePlus 7 has no support. However, we expect an aluminum center frame to provide first-class feel and durability.
- Frame: Glass (front and back), aluminum (center frame)
- Finish: Unknown
According to Giztop, the OnePlus 7 becomes much larger be as his predecessor of the T-series. Apparently, it's rumored to increase its height from 6.20 inches to 6.35 inches. It will also be slightly wider and thicker, with the latter expected to offset the increase in battery capacity. As with the previous OnePlus phones, we do not expect an official IP water resistance class, as it increases the phone cost.
In support of operators, you can expect the same thing as OnePlus 6T with official support for T-Mobile (including a carrier variant) and the ability to use it with AT & T because the required tapes have been added. Since the OnePlus 6T was compatible with Verizon, we expect the 7 to do the same, and possibly the sprint, giving them the opportunity to officially endorse all four major US carriers. However, this is just wishful thinking on our part.
- Height: 6.35 inches
- Width: 3.00 inches
- Depth: 0.35 inches

- Dust and water resistance: no official rating
- Supported operators: Verizon, AT & T, T-Mobile

Outside a major upheaval, expect OnePlus 7 to run the latest version of Android 9.0 Pie. Android 10 (Q) should not be ready by this time, but it's possible that a beta version will run if Google chooses public beta like last year.
OnePlus 7 runs the latest version of Oxygen OS. At the moment this is version 9.0.12. While it should run v9, it will probably run a newer version than the most recent version of the OnePlus 6T, as it usually contains some tweaks to the new hardware.
There are rumors that OnePlus will do this once again. Resize the screen with the next iteration. This time, there will be an increase from 0.09 inches to 6.5 inches. Based on leaked photos, the star of the show will be removing the score. While a case manufacturer's breakthrough showed the same drop notch, all the other rumors have revealed a notch-free screen.
OnePlus borrows from Oppo and Vivo for the front-facing camera and slides the earphone into a tiny hole slit above the screen. The result is a seemingly bezel-free phone whose upper and lower bezel resemble the side edges in size.
Once again, OnePlus will use its favorite panel, a 1080p screen developed by AMOLED from Samsung. This will be an Optic AMOLED, a marketing term for an AMOLED panel newly calibrated by OnePlus' team.

The OnePlus 7 uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, the newest and largest SoC from Qualcomm. This SoC uses a 7nm process that provides significant improvements in energy efficiency and performance. It also uses a new three-tier arrangement with a 2.84GHz gold core, three slightly lower clocked gold cores at 2.41GHz, and four even lower 1.78 core silver cores GHz. This arrangement allows the SoC to consume less battery because each category can better meet the needs of the user.

According to rumors, the OnePlus 7 is to increase the battery capacity back to 4,000 mAh. Oxygen OS is already aggressive in terms of battery management, which is why the OnePlus 6 had an impressive battery life despite the 3,300 mAh battery. When the 6T arrived with its 3,700 mAh battery, it quickly jumped to the top of battery power, managing battery life over or over that of higher-capacity mobile phones. If the rumors are correct, the OnePlus 7 will be a battery-charging champion, providing almost two days of charging.
CEO Pete Lau has already confirmed that wireless charging will not come to OnePlus 7 Great chance OnePlus® new Warp Charge 30 (first introduced in the OnePlus 6T McLaren) will be released on OnePlus 7 , This quick charger is an enhancement to previous technology (formerly known as Dash Charge). This technology is a 30 watt charger (compared to 20 watt in the last version), which allows the battery of the 6T McLaren to be charged to 50% in 20 minutes.

Any indication that the OnePlus is radically changing the front of the camera. Instead of being placed directly above the display in a bezel or notch, a pop-up mechanism is used. The OnePlus 7's camera will pop out of the frame of the phone when you need it, and hide if you do not.
This change helps in two ways. The first is that it releases the display for a notch-free design to achieve an all-screen front. The second is that it offers comfort for those with privacy. Instead of having your camera always pointed at you and having to rely on the software to protect you from background surveillance, you're now safely stowed away with the camera when you're not using it.

OnePlus also enhances the rear view cameras by providing both the resolution and the number of cameras increased. Similar to Huawei OnePlus uses three cameras, the main sensor is 48 megapixels. With such a high resolution, the OnePlus 7 can capture more detail in each photo. There is also a second lens with 20 MP and another lens with 5 MP.
It is possible that the cameras are arranged similar to the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, which uses a 40 MP main sensor, an 8 MP telephoto lens, and a 20 MP Ultra wide lens. Ultrawide lenses will be omnipresent in 2019. Therefore, it makes sense for the 20 megapixel camera of the OnePlus 7. The 5 megapixel lens is a 2x optical zoom telephoto lens for remote shooting. All this, however, we speculate.

Although no rumors about video performance have arrived, we can make some predictions based on its predecessor and its SoC. First, it should be able to process 4K images at 60 frames per second. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 can handle this easily, and the 6T already offered this option on the Snapdragon 845. Slow motion video should also be possible, with the SoC supporting 480 fps at 720p.
- Resolution: 720p, 1080p and 4K (2160p)

We know that the OnePlus 7 is not the OnePlus 5G phone that was raised at the Mobile World Congress. This is another phone that will debut later in the year and may not be coming to the US for a while. While the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 supports up to Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), no phone released with the SoC supports anything other than the Samsung Galaxy S10 offering, so its incorporation is cautious.
- Wi-Fi: 802.11 a / b / g / ac
- Bluetooth: 5.0
- NFC: Yes
- Cellphone: Nano-SIM
- Port: USB Type-C
In terms of security, OnePlus 7 once again uses an in-display fingerprint sensor. We hope they upgrade to an ultrasound sensor that was not available at the time the 6T was released. The newer sensors let you authenticate when your fingers are wet or dirty, and you can unlock your phone without having to wake up the display first.
- Fingerprint Scanner: Yes, In-Display
