Apple released public beta version 3 of iOS 12.3 on Tuesday, April 23, just over a day after developer beta 3 was released. Just like the developer version, there are no important features or changes to look forward to, but if you made minor errors with the previous betas on your iPhone, this update could bring some of them to a standstill.
What is then? exactly new in Beta 3? Apple has addressed an accessibility issue that has caused the Accessibility Events switch to be removed due to incompatibility. Also resolved an issue where unexpected behavior could occur if the system time was changed before May 1
, when Japanese was used as the language and calendar. Apple Pushed Out iOS 12.3 Public Beta 3 for iPhone with Accessibility & Time Issues Updates "width =" 532 "height =" 532 "style =" max-width: 532px; height: auto; "/>
This is no longer in the "web accessibility" settings.
Apple also claims that this will apply to iOS Betas in the future 12.3 You can update without using the previous beta, so when iOS 12.3 Beta 4 comes out , you can perform an update of Beta 1 or 2, not just of 3.
Check out the Release Notes for Beta 3:
iOS 12.3 beta 3 may only be installed if you are using iOS 12.3 Beta 2. With the next beta release, you can resolve this issue so that you can also install other versions of iOS.
Resolved Issues The switch "Accessibility Events" has been removed because related aspects of the W3C AOM effort are no longer applicable. (49784417)
Date and Time
Support for the Reiwa (??) era of the Japanese calendar, which begins on May 1, 2019, is now available. The first year of the Japanese calendar era is called "??" shown. ("Gannen") instead of "1?", Except in the shorter formats in the numeric style, which usually also use the narrow time name; for example: "R1 / 05/01". (27323929)
When changing the system time to May 1, unexpected behavior may occur when you use a device with the system language and calendar set to Japanese. (49371044)
To download and update your iPhone to iOS Beta 3 public beta version 3, you must first be a public beta tester with a valid configuration profile. If iOS 12 automatic updates are enabled, you can have the software updated overnight. To instantly install, go to Settings -> General -> Software Update -> Download and Install, and follow the instructions.
As for iOS 12.3 overall, it's a minor update compared to earlier stable updates. In the second beta of iOS 12.3, only the Japanese date and time settings and a tweak for Wallet's transaction history were added. Beta 1 was more exciting, featuring Apple's new "Apple TV Channels" with free trial channels and services, a redesigned icon, an updated interface, and more.
