While the eyes and ears of the iPhone world are focused solely on iOS 13 and its suite of over 200 new features, Apple actively tested iOS 12.4 along with the large iPhone update to prepare for the release of the Apple Card. Today, 116 days after the first beta release, Apple has finally introduced iOS 12.4 stable, and there's no concrete evidence that the Apple Card itself will show its face. The release notes show that Apple offers a new migration tool that lets you wirelessly transfer data from an old iPhone to a new iPhone. There are also some Apple News + features, such as: For example, accessing downloaded issues in the My Journals section, deleting all downloaded issues, and including all publications in the News + feed.
iOS 12.4 introduces iPhone migration to transfer data directly from an old iPhone to a new iPhone, includes enhancements to Apple News +, and improves the security of your iPhone or iPad. This update:
- Provides the ability to wirelessly transfer data during setup and migrate directly from an old iPhone to a new iPhone section, both offline and online
- Inserts all releases in Apple News +, including newspapers, to the catalog at the top of the News + feed] Further improvements and fixes
- Includes a security update for the walkie-talkie app on the Apple Watch, and re-enables walkie-talkie functionality.
This version also provides support for the HomePod in Japan and Taiwan.

Apple Card is more than an exciting feature. However. The fully functional Goldman Sachs credit card has APRs ranging from 13.24% to 24.24% based on your balance and "Daily Cash" for purchases made with the Apple Card. However, there is still no official word about when the Apple Card will be ready. As a result, another iOS update may be required to make it available to the public. To download iOS 12.4, go to Settings -> General -> Software Update. If the update is available, follow the instructions on the screen to download 12.4 and install it on your iPhone. If you have auto-update enabled, you can have your iPhone updated overnight.
