Apple releases iOS 13.3.1 Developer Beta 2 for the iPhone «iOS & iPhone :: Gadget Hacks

Have you been on vacation this holiday season? It seems Apple did it. After the release of Beta 1 for iOS 13.3.1 developers (then public Beta 1 a day later), beta tests for iOS stopped for almost a month. With 2019 in the books, Apple seems to be up and running again, as developers received iOS 13.3.1 Beta 2 today, Tuesday, January 14th.

Apple has launched the second 13.3.1 beta at 1 p.m. EST (10:00 am PST), 28 days after the beta version of iOS 13.3.1 dev 1. "Developers" is a key word here, as the update is reserved for registered developers only. If you are a public beta tester, you will have to wait for Apple to release public beta 13.3.1

2. This is expected to fall at 4:00 p.m. EST (1:00 p.m. PST) today or 1:00 p.m. EST Monday.

So what can you expect from the second beta of 13.3.1? That will be shown. We'll look at the software and report on new features and changes that it brings. However, we advise you to keep your expectations low. The first beta for 13.3.1 didn't add much to iOS, apart from a fix for Screen Time. Apple also admitted this in its short release notes that read, "There are no release notes for this software update." This is exactly the same as Beta 2.
