Apple released the first public beta for iOS 13.5.5 today, Monday June 1st. This update comes just a few hours after Apple released the first 13.5.5 beta and the public version of iOS 13.5.1 to developers, which introduced a patch for the Unc0ver jailbreak exploit. It was a great day for iOS software.

So far 13.5.5 seems to be a small update. MacRumors reports that the beta contains images from "News + Audio" (see below). These images support an early rumor from Digiday that Apple publications are asking to work on audio versions of their stories, which will then be supported in Apple News +.
