Apple released iOS 14.1 for iPhone today, Tuesday October 13th. The update will be released on the day Apple announced the iPhone 12, 12 mini, 12 Pro, and 12 Pro Max. Apple released this update eight days after tvOS 14.0.2 and 19 days after the release of iOS 14.0.1.
Apple released this update just before 11:30 am PDT. It’s not yet clear what to expect from 14.1 as the update is so new. Apple’s last public update, iOS 14.0.1, was mainly a stability update for iPhones that fixed issues with the news widget, default browser, and email apps, among other things.
Release notes for iOS 14.1 will follow shortly.
