Starting today, users who own a Roku device can stream content from Apple TV. First visit the Roku Channel Store and access the Apple TV app to access shows and movies.
After you've added the Apple TV app to your Roku device, you can sign in with your Apple ID Access your iTunes video library, 4K HD iTunes purchases, Apple TV channels, Apple Referrals, and Apple TV + original too. This news comes just two weeks before the Apple TV + debut on November 1
The app itself can be downloaded for free from the Roku Channel Store, but Apple TV + costs $ 4.99 a month thereafter for a free seven-day trial. Roku users can subscribe to Apple TV + directly through the Apple TV app on Roku. Apple TV + has access to more than 100,000 movies and shows, while subscriptions to Apple TV Channel include premium networks like Starz and HBO (separate fee).
