Apple's leading marketing tool for the iPhone X, 3D Animoji, which you control with your face and head movements, is once again in the spotlight of a new commercial that the company released on its Korean YouTube account this week
In Conjunction With the release of a new single from the South Korean indie band HYUKOH Apple put together a new animoji karaoke video titled "Taxi Driver" for the song "Citizen Kane".
The ad contains two of the new Animoji characters from Apple, the Bear, and the Dragon, and includes wallpapers and text specifically targeted at South Korean consumers.
Earlier this year we speculated that Apple's newly released set of Animoji could match a more significant push to popularize the iPhone X internationally, and this new video seems to support this idea.
The new commercial comes just weeks before Apple's annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), where users are likely to come with additional updates on Apple's augmented reality offerings, including Animoji, the TrueDepth camera, and most of all Arkit.
