A new app for iPhones and iPads gives developers a sandbox to test their AR experiences and share them with the world.
Now available in the iOS App Store, wiARframe, a free app with no in-app purchases, allows developers to build their content through a web-based tool that eliminates the need for coding or complex interfaces
"WiARframe is designed in the spirit of lightweight web and mobile design tools, following the paradigms that most developers already know and avoid (where possible) How do you do that? "We use reasonable default values," said Jeremiah Alexander, the developer behind wiARframe, in a blog post.
"We make a lot of decisions on your behalf As the light sources in the scene, the 3D shaders used to render the 3D models and handle the real world of the scene. Yes, that reduces your control, but for a prototype we consider speed and ease of use to be more important. "
The mobile app allows developers to quickly view their work, make changes to the development environment, and instantly transfer it to the app. The app also provides developers with a platform to share their content with others for testing.
