Avengers: Endgame trailer revealed

So Avengers: Endgame now has a big situation: By no means all those Marvel heroes who make money have finally disappeared. But some of them probably have to bite the dust for dramatic reasons (and because some actors have publicly talked about going on ). We have to wait to see who is retiring early, but right now we can sum up what we know.

What about this name?

There was much speculation about what the movie would be called – For a long time it was simply known as Avengers 4, and many feared that the actual title could be a huge, brave spoiler. Endgame was mentioned early in the rumor game, in part because Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) says it in Infinity War Tony Stark ominously says, "We're in the final now."

The term actually comes from the chess world and refers to the game phase, in which only a few parts are left, which seems allegorically meaningful. In Infinity War, Thanos and the Avengers were brought together in a huge chess game, and then Thanos pulled out a seeming checkmate.

But the game may not be over yet. Doctor Strange himself made an enigmatic sacrifice and handed the time-marker to Thanos, just as chess players could strategically sacrifice a piece to work toward a later victory. Now we wait to see exactly how the endgame takes place and what sacrifices are yet to be made.

When will Avengers: Endgame come out?

Avengers 4 is expected to be released on April 26 in the US, on April 25 in the UK and on April 24 in Australia.

The film is the fourth in a series, so if you want to see everything Three previous films by Avengers, check out The Avengers of 2012, Avengers: Age of Ultron of 2015 and 1945 and Avengers: Infinity Was from 2018 on. Finished with that? There are many other Marvel movies that you can see to enjoy the backgrounds of the various heroes. Here is our proposed order to see them in.

Post-credits scene

Have you thought of sitting in your seats after the end of the Infinity War to see the scene? to watch after the credits? We break it off here, but it looks like Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) has successfully sent a message to Captain Marvel based on the symbol that stands on the pager of Fury. Brie Larson will play Captain Marvel in a solo film that will be released in March 2019, and as this is only a month or two ahead of Avengers 4, some plot points are expected to be established.

Who will be dead?

Here is a list of vanishing, melting sandstyles, thanks to Thanos, who eliminated half of the population:

  • Bucky Barnes
  • Drax (Dave Bautista)
  • Groot (Vin Diesel) [19659036]] Mantis
  • Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen)
  • Spider-Man
  • Peter Quill
  • Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch)
  • Black Panther (19659036) Chadwick) Boseman)
  • Falcon (Anthony Mackie)

To fight another day (as far as we know, we did not see these heroes disappear):

  • Captain America (Chris Evans)
  • Iron Man ( Robert Downey Jr.)
  • Thor (Chris Hemsworth)
  • Hulk [Mark Ruffalo]
  • M Baku (Winston Duke)
  • Okoye (Danai Gurira)
  • Rocket (Bradley Cooper) [19659036] War Machine (Don Cheadle)
  • Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson)
  • Fog (Karen Gillan)

And while we revealed the fate of Black Panther's sister Shuri (Letit ia Wright), in late March, Marvel showed a series of posters of the still living figures in color, and those that had been torn in black and white. Shuri was shown in black and white. Not a surprise, as she also appeared in a trailer to the film when Bruce Banner looked at computer pictures of vanished heroes.

The fate of Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson) was also made clear by the posters – she was seen in a color image and apparently survived.

Shuri, noooo!

Marvel Studios

Each of the vanished heroes will likely return for a while. Marvel would hardly keep them dead by letting an interned hundred-dollar bills into a paper shredder-too much money to lose.

Some we know will come back – Black Panther and the Guardians of the Galaxy has scheduled additional films, leaving T & # 39; Challah and Star Lord nowhere to go, even if not all Wakandans and Guardians make it.

The future may not be so bright for the big three – Captain America, Iron Man and Thor. Chris Evans has said he is going on after this movie and also Downey and Hemsworth have pointed out. But we do not know until we know, and besides, Marvel is famous for restarting characters who have died / frozen / hung the uniform.

As the observers of Infinity War know, some characters died or seemed to be dead before Thanos did his thing. Heimdall (Idris Elba), Loki (Tom Hiddleston), Gamora (Zoe Saldana) and the Vision (Paul Bettany) are on a different level of death than the others, though dead in Marvel Land does not always mean forever.

Rocket Raccoon will return, but how will he manage without Groot?

And some characters can not be suspected. We have not seen the fate of M & # 39; Baku (Winston Duke) and Wong (Benedict Wong).

Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), who was not seen in the Infinity War, returns for Avengers: Endgame. For almost a year, there have also been rumors that Hawkeye is taking on another super-identity, that of masked Ninja Ronin, one of Hawkeye's comic identities. The trailer seems to confirm this as Hawkeye seems to be wearing Ronin's armor.

And Gamora's death may be different from those affected by snapping. A Reddit user presents a fascinating theory about Gamora's mind trapped in Soul Stone, an act that has roots in comics. In this theory, she would not be released in Avengers: Endgame, but in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. This theory has legs – it would create a great search for GOTG3, since Star Lord and Crew certainly fight to the last breath to get her team member back The long wait for Avengers: Endgame continues.
