gets closer. The sales guarantee begins tomorrow, just after midnight PT on Tuesday October 13th, and runs through Wednesday October 14th. And if you want to get a bargain price on a new TV, the two day shopping event is sure to include big discounts on big screens. Amazon has trudged quite a few and so have other retailers like Best Buy, and more. Some of these deals include TV price cuts and we expect more TV deals to pop up soon.
The best Prime Day TV offers so far
Update, Monday, October 12th: Amazon’s Fire TV Edition televisions are back in retail prices as part of the company’s device business summary. We expect more tomorrow when Prime Day officially begins. We’re also showing some of the best deals at other retailers joining the Amazon party.
The Sony TV has been updated to reflect a price cut on Amazon. You can save even more when you pay with one.
If you’re looking to buy a TV for less than $ 100, JVC’s LT-32MAW205 might be just the thing. After all, Roku is integrated in this 32-inch HD television (with a resolution of 720p). So when you factor in what you are spending on a Roku media player, you can get the TV for around $ 70. This set has three HDMI inputs, USB and a range of audio and video connections.
With a regular price of $ 130, you can save about 24% during sales while supplies last.
The television sets actually sold by Amazon are initially this Fire TV Edition (model 32LF221U21) from Toshiba. We didn’t love the 2019 version of this TV because the Fire TV menus put too much weight on the Amazon content and are generally more confusing compared to the simplicity of Roku TV. But it has Alexa built in, and maybe that’s worth another $ 20 more than the JVC mentioned above.
Beyond the resolution of 1080p, this Toshiba is essentially the same as the 32-inch version above. It’s $ 20 less than the 4K insignia below – but at that size, you don’t really need 4K anyway.
The smart home makes for weird bedfellows, but I suppose Amazon, which sells Best Buy’s own brand Insignia, is no stranger to Best Buy, which sells Amazon’s Echo speakers. This 43-inch TV, model NS-43DF710NA21, is available for $ 100 on Amazon – $ 20 cheaper than Best Buy’s price. Again, we like the 43-inch TCL Roku TV better overall, even though it’s not 4K, but the TCL lacks built-in voice control and is currently $ 20 more.
JVC’s LT-50MAW595 is a 50-inch 4K TV with HDR. It is based on our preferred smart TV operating system Roku TV and has three HDMI inputs. Sells regularly for $ 349. During the sale you will receive a 37% discount while stocks last.

Do you want a much bigger, better TV? The XBR-X900H has dropped to its lowest price ever compared to its original list price of $ 1,600 and is now just $ 220 more than the competing TCL 6 Series. This Sony packs the Android TV operating system, plus great picture quality and next-generation connectivity that outperforms the Roku and other budget devices – in time for the new Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. Sure, a big price increase over the other three here, but also the savings are great. The street price for the 65-incher is currently around $ 1,000 at most major retailers (just $ 50 more than the 55-inch version), but cutting off the screen coupon on Amazon brings it to $ 970 there -Dollar.
