Apple has made many changes to how your iPhone or iPad works on iOS 1
The Updates tab usually shows and installs any pending app updates. If you're the type of person who never updates your apps and is constantly alerted to a notification icon on the App Store icon, I can not help you, except that updating apps also ensures apps' security and performance.
Keep in mind that iOS 13 is still in beta and functionality may and will change before the final release in the fall. We update this post with the most up to date information we have. If you want to test iOS 13 or iPadOS, you can now install it.
Fortunately, app updates are still easy to get, just know where to look.
To update your apps in iOS 13:
- To view pending updates, open the App Store on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
- A red icon is displayed for pending updates The notification icon is visible on your profile icon.
- Touch your profile icon.
- All available updates appear under the Personalized Recommendations button. If no updates are displayed, you can drag the page down to refresh it and force your device to check for updates.
For updates, you can either update them one at a time or tap the Update All button and name it a day.
