On Friday,that were uploaded but not posted, affecting 6.8 million people and 1,500 apps connected to Facebook.
The bug was present for almost two weeks from September 13th to September 25th.
In the course of publicly announcing the bug, Facebook has also created a page that users can visit to see if they could have been exposed to photos.
To verify your account, visit this page and sign in to your Facebook account when prompted.
