Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has tested positive for the coronavirus.
“I just got the message that I am positive for COVID-1
Christie’s diagnosis comes from the fact that several aides and senators who attended the Supreme Court nomination announcement of President Trump’s White House last Saturday have since announced positive Covid-19 test results.
President Donald Trump announced early Friday that he and the First Lady had a positive diagnosis and that the President had been rushed to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on Friday.
Christie helped Trump prepare for last week’s presidential debate with Democratic candidate Joe Biden. He was at the White House for the ceremony last weekend and said no one was wearing masks while preparing the debate.
“Nobody was wearing masks in the room when we were preparing for the president at that time,” Christie said in an interview on ABC. “And the group consisted of five or six people in all.”
