Create playlists in SoundCloud to organize your music. «Smartphones :: Gadget Hacks



Step 1: Create a playlist on an iPhone

Open your SoundCloud app and select a song you want Start a playlist with. When you see the song on your screen, tap the ellipsis (three dots) in the lower right corner. You can also find the omission symbol next to songs in search results, artist song lists, or even in your own collection.

After tapping Add to Playlist. From here, you can either select an already created playlist to add the song or create a new playlist by tapping the plus sign in the upper right corner. If you want to create a new playlist, name it and tap Done to save it. Your song will now be added to your newly created playlist, and you can add it back whenever you need it.

You can view your playlists by tapping the people icon at the bottom of the main interface. This will bring you to your Collections page, where you'll find your playlists at the top of Playlists & Albums.

Your new playlist is automatically privatized. To publish the playlist, tap the playlist, tap the ellipsis points to the right of the thumbnail of the playlist, and choose Publish Playlist from the menu.

Step 2: Create a playlist on an Android device

Creating and accessing playlists on Android is only slightly different from iOS. To create a playlist, tap a song that you want to use to start a playlist. When you see the song on your screen, tap the ellipsis in the lower right corner. You can also find the omission icon next to songs in search results, artist song lists, or even from your own collection.

From here, a menu sheet is displayed. Touch Add to Playlist. From here, you can either select an already created playlist to add the song or create a new playlist by tapping "Create New Playlist". If you did the latter, enter your playlist title, select whether the playlist should be marked as private or not, and then click Done.

You can access your playlists at any time by tapping the library icon to the right of the Search button at the bottom of the screen on the main interface. This will bring you to your Collections page, where you'll find your playlists at the top of Playlists & Albums.

Step 3: Rearrange the music in your playlists

If you want to reorder the music in your newly created playlist, tap the playlist that you want You want to organize. From there, tap the ellipsis points to the right of the thumbnail of the playlist and choose Edit Playlist.

Your titles are listed on the edit page. On the right side of each song is a two- or three-line drag icon for Android or iPhone. Hold down the key and move the song to the desired position in the order of your playlist. To remove a song, either tap the minus icon to the left of the song (iPhone) or swipe left over the song (Android) and click Remove to delete it from your playlist ,
