With SmartArt in Microsoft PowerPoint, you can easily create a corporate or pedigree chart. Let's go.
Go to the "Insert" tab and click on "SmartArt". In the following window "Select SmartArt Graphics", select the category "Hierarchy" on the left. Click on an organizational chart layout on the right, eg Eg "Organization Chart". When you're done, click "OK."
Click a field in the SmartArt graphic, and then enter your text.
Enter the text to replace the placeholder text. Click any additional text box in the SmartArt graphic, and then enter your text as well.
Here's an example of what your organization chart might look like so far:
Alternatively, you can type text in a text box instead of directly in the boxes. If the "Enter your text here" area is not visible, click the control on the edge of the SmartArt graphic.
To insert a new field, click on the existing field closest to you to add the new box. On the Design tab, click Add Form. Enter your new text directly in the new field or via the text window.
