Why is "cutting" such an underestimated editing function? It copies and deletes text, what more can you ask for? How about a more efficient method? With iOS 13, Apple has introduced a series of new gestures and swipes to simplify editing text on the iPhone. The cutting out of text also gets its own gesture.
If your text is highlighted, you only need to press twice with three fingers on the screen to cut it out. You know that you have completed the action properly when a "cut" bubble appears at the top of the display. You'll probably also be notified if your text disappears.
Cutting text is not the only editing feature with a new gesture. Use swipe and drag to copy, paste, undo, and restore things. Once you've learned these gestures, editing text on your iPhone becomes child's play.
