Dance TikTok's Footshake Challenge in Three Different Ways «Smartphones :: Gadget Hacks

Whether you call it shaking feet or dancing, videos of people tapping their feet together have been blown up all over TikTok. If you want to get into the action but can't track all the fast-paced TikToks, we'll slow them down a little for you and a friend.

A big problem with learning #footshake or #footdance is that there are actually several different versions and the names are usually used interchangeably. Second, no matter what version you want to try, there aren't many tutorials you can follow. Most people just want to post videos of themselves successfully performing the dance instead of taking the time to guide others through the dance.

If you stumble over the madness today, you're probably thinking of the "Oh Nanana". This particular version of the Dance Challenge became popular in mid-201

8 when DJ 6RB released a remix version of Bonde R300's "Oh Nanana". The mix extended the catchy catch at the beginning of the song to the perfect TikTok video companion.

There are actually a few different versions of the Oh Nanana Challenge: one that is a solo dance and one that takes two people. We refer to the latter. And as for the other version of the # footshake / # footdance, it's an older one that uses the song "Faded (Vikstrom Remix)" by Alan Walker. We'll look at both of them below.

# 1: Oh Nanana (The New Footshake)

Although there aren't many tutorials that break down the "Oh Nanana" footshake, we took the time to do the steps ourselves.

  1. Tap the Inside of your right feet together.
  2. Tap the inside of your left feet three times.
  3. Tap the inside of your right feet three times.
  4. Tap the inside of your left feet together. 19659008] Tap the inside of your right feet together.
  5. Immediately tap the outside of your right feet.
  6. Turn left, then tap the back of your left feet.

From here, the services vary by lot . Just watch enough videos and you will see how people do the rest of the dance differently and often get stuck at the end of the clip. The most important thing seems to be sticking to a routine and doing it well. But here is a good rule of thumb for the rest of the steps:

  1. Tap the outside of your right feet together
  2. Tap the inside of your left feet together
  3. Tap the inside of your right feet together
  4. . Tap the outside of your left feet together.
  5. Turn right, then tap the back of your right feet.
  6. Rinse and repeat

. As you can see from the following compilation, there are many variations. [19659022] And here is a popular example of one directly on TikTok:

If that looked too difficult, there is a more relaxed version where you can try not to make alternate turns. Erick Bassan's walkthrough on YouTube is easy to learn. He and a friend first show the dance at full speed and then slow down the footage to demonstrate each movement individually. When all is said and done, you and your partner only need to know seven steps:

  1. Tap the inside of your right feet together.
  2. Tap the inside of your left feet together.
  3. Tap the inside of your right feet right feet together again
  4. Tap the outside of your right feet together
  5. Turn left and tap the bottom of your left feet together
  6. Turn back and tap the outside of your right feet together again
  7. Repeat from # 2 above
