Most sports save their biggest event for the end of the season, be it the NFL and the Super Bowl, baseball and the World Series or the Cornhole and the ACO World Championships. (Golf is the rare exception as the Masters arrive at the beginning of the season in the second week of April.) NASCAR is the only sport where I can imagine a season beginning with the most important event. The Daytona 500 is the largest and most famous race of the Stock Car Race of the Year.
