Everything You Need for the Ultimate Mobile Office – Review Geek

Your desk is big, comfortable and perfect for getting things done. Your laptop is … less like that. But with a few extra gadgets, you can put the essential comfort of a complete desktop setup in a bag and take it with you wherever you go.

We have selected some perfect accessories that are suitable for any laptop running Windows or Mac OS. and most Windows-powered tablets. It's not very practical to roll off the entire kit and caboodle at an airport, but for a longer working session in a hotel room (or your brother-in-law's basement) it's a great package. Mix and match them as you like, pack them or leave them to your liking.

For Convenient Input: A Bluetooth Mouse and Keyboard

Laptops are much better than they used to be when it comes to keyboards and touchpads, but you can not beat a real combination of mouse and keyboard. That's twice as big when you switch to a tablet: this combination of keyboard lids leaves a lot to be desired. Bluetooth is handy and automatically connects and works with any modern portable computer.

For your mouse, we recommend the excellent Triathlon M720 from Logitech. This mouse is bigger and more comfortable than a typical "travel mouse", but has all the features you need with five standard buttons and a quick, ball-bearing scroll wheel. The mouse is compatible with both a typical USB dongle and Bluetooth and can quickly switch between up to three programmed devices. (Handy, if you have a tablet with you!) Best of all, a single AA battery lasts for months. The street price of this mouse shifts, but it is often found for less than thirty dollars.

Hexgears, x-1, mechanical, keyboard, Kailh, Low Profile,

Logitech makes keyboards with the same fast-switching technique, and they are fine. But if your budget goes up, I recommend the Hexgears X-1. It's a mechanical board that uses flat switches and a compact layout, putting a full-size mechanical feel inside something you can easily put in your pocket. The switches feel better than a laptop or travel keyboard, and they come with backlighting and multi-device pairing. The keyboard is available with white (clicky), brown (bump but no clicks) and red (smooth linear) switches. Select the last one if you are concerned about the typing noise. Bonus: it comes with its own carrying case.

For More Workspace: A USB-powered Monitor

If you've been spoiled at home with a monitor with two or three screens or at work, things can be difficult to do on just one screen take care of. Fortunately, there is a solution: Bring a monitor! Since most backpacks can not hold a 20-pound screen, portable versions are available that use a single USB cable for power and video. Removing and setting up for each work session is obviously not ideal, but it's great if you have some time and space.

For most users we recommend the HP EliteDisplay S140u. Its 14-inch size works well with most laptops and has a sturdy base that protects the screen when traveling. The resolution of 1600 × 900 does not burden the integrated graphics of your laptop. The A-style USB 3.0 cable works with most modern devices without adapters. If you need some higher-resolution USB-C, you should look at this Asus model instead.

For No-Stress Power Supply: A Portable Surge Protector

This Belkin three-socket surge protector has already been manufactured as my companion on every major business trip of the last decade. It's simple, flexible and prevents you from having to fight at the airport for the only available point of sale. In addition to the basic protection of your expensive laptop, the device has dual USB ports to give your mobile devices a quick boost without having to unplug another adapter. Seriously, make sure this thing is in your pocket and you will be the most popular participant in the convention.

For easy viewing: A Tablet Stand

Anchor, Stand, Stand for Tablets, Portable iPod,

If you travel with a tablet or just want to access your phone for an extended period of time , this anchor stand is an excellent addition to your work bag. Lightweight yet robust, it can hold even the largest and heaviest tablets at almost any reading or viewing angle.

For Emergency Backup: A Portable Battery

 Portable Battery, Heloideo, usb-c,

If you travel frequently, you probably already use a portable battery to keep your phone in good shape bring. If you are looking for a new model, this Heloideo model is great. It plugs directly into the wall for charging and includes Lightning, Micro USB and USB C cables built into the case – everything you need to charge just about any mobile device in a compact package. 10000mAh should fully charge each phone at least twice, and it includes a standard USB output for non-standard devices. Do you need a battery big enough to charge your laptop? Then the dual-capacity RAVPower AC power outlet with a built-in wall outlet is just what you need.
