Fixing Errors in Photoshop Express to Get Flawless Skin in Your Selfies «Smartphones :: Gadget Hacks

You finally made it! You've combined all of your photography and angle knowledge to take the perfect selfie. It looks awesome and you can not wait to post this bad boy on Instagram. But wait, what's that? Your skin looks so uneven and – is that a zit? I guess the selfie gods were not for your skin when you grabbed them. Fortunately, you can fix all these little bugs using Photoshop Express.

Adobe's mobile PS Express app is available for both iOS and Android, and the fix-fix process is the same, whether you're using an iPhone or an iPhone Android device. If you already have the app, you need to update it before proceeding.

Step 1
: Open the Spot Correction Tool

Take a look at my selfie. Not bad, right? Well, except for my skin. Like many of you, I occasionally suffer from occasional quotes, but I will not let this ruin my selfie play.

The first thing we will do is get rid of all blemishes. Open PS Express and select the Selfie you want to edit. Scroll down the bottom toolbar and tap the bandage or double bandage icon.

Use the slider on the toolbar to specify the size of the bandage correction area. You can magnify your photo with the pinch gesture, which makes it easier to narrow down the error so nothing else is "corrected" by mistake.

Step 2: Zoom in and tap these imperfections

Enlarge your photo to make all the imperfections in your skin more visible. Select only one area to focus on at a time, and set the slider so that the brush is only slightly larger than the error you are correcting. Then tap the error and watch it disappear.

If you did not get the result you want, touch the undo button at the top of the screen and try again. Adjust the brush as needed. It is normal to use the back button several times and try the spot correction again. For some pictures this is a difficult process.

Repeat for all other areas you want to correct. It may take some time to finish, but it's worth it. Zoom in and out frequently to see how the entire image evolves.

Be careful not to Touch areas near your facial features; B. eyes or nose. The spot correction brush is mixed incorrectly if the area to be corrected is inconsistent. You can make the brush smaller to approximate these areas to one of your facial features as needed.

Step 3: Smooth your skin texture.

Next, tap the settings panel, the two icons or the icon with three sliders in the toolbar. Scroll to Reduce Luminescent Noise and Reduce Color Noise. Select one, raise the slider, and repeat the process for the other to soften the appearance of your skin. You should increase this until part of the background looks blurry. This never happens in some pictures, so it's okay to raise both sliders to their maximum. Your Selfies ” width=”222″ height=”222″ style=”max-width:532px;height:auto;”/>

When you're done, you can go back to Spot Corrector if you need it. Do not be afraid to play with a few other adjustments – my personal favorites are Illumination settings, filters and split tones.

To review your changes, tap the above before and after tool. the one that looks like a square cut in half. This switches between your original image and your edited image. This is a great way to see everything you've achieved and to see if further adjustments are needed.

Do not forget to save your image after you have made any adjustments so you do not make any changes to lose. When you're ready to upload your image to your favorite social media site, touch the share icon in the top right corner. It displays some image options and apps to which you can send the image.
