Fortnite Season 4 Week 7 Challenge Guide: Entering the Vault in Doom’s Domain

While Fortnites Season 4 Week 7 The Doom’s Domain Vault Entered Challenge is no walk in the park, it is certainly easier than many of this season’s challenges that involve defeating mini-bosses like Iron Man or Wolverine. To gain access to the vault in Doom’s Domain, you must first go through Doctor Doom yourself. This can be a difficult task, but we’ll walk you every step of the way in this handy guide – including tips and tricks to make it as easy as possible for you.

Here’s how to enter the vault in Doom’s Domain Fourteen days.

Finding and turning off Doctor Doom

Before you can enter the vault at Doom’s Domain, you will need to get your hands on the Doctor Doom key card. As you’d expect, you can find the key card by defeating Doctor Doom. This can be difficult as it tends to appear in random places. However, as we noted in the guide to eliminating Doctor Doom three times in Season 4, Week 1, he tends to spawn in the underground helipad under the soccer field towards the southern portion of Doom’s Domain. When he’s not there, he’ll almost always be in the large mansion to the north on one of the upper floors.

To start with, we recommend landing somewhere near the soccer field in Doom’s Domain. As you soar overhead, try to take a look to see if Doctor Doom is there. If so, take a mental note and quickly find some weapons. If not, head towards the villa to the north. Assuming he’s on the underground soccer field and you have your guns, try to take him out from a distance. If you only have melee weapons like a shotgun or handgun, try to find something with a slightly longer range, like an assault rifle.

It is best if your team help you turn off Doctor Doom as it is pretty tough. You can definitely eliminate him yourself, but the more teammates you have to help, the better. Once he’s down, run to his body and there will be a key card for you to pick up. Make sure your team gets this before anyone else, otherwise you will have to defeat the enemy who takes them to get the keycard back. Alternatively, if someone else opens it, you can get credit for entry even if you don’t shut down Doctor Doom or open the vault yourself, but you shouldn’t expect that.

The last tip we have is to dress up as Doctor Doom’s henchman by jumping into the phone booth near the statue in the middle of Doom’s Domain. This will help you make the jump to Doctor Doom, which will make it easier to take him down and grab the key card.

Enter the vault

Once you finish Doctor Doom, run to the loot he drops and take the key card. The vault is located in the underground helipad under the soccer field on the south side. You will likely have to take out a lot of Doctor Doom’s henchmen to get in safely. There is a card reader on the left side of the vault door. So swipe the key card and leave it open for a few seconds. Once the door is open, run in and you will find tons of loot and you will get credit for completing the challenge, along with 25,000 XP.

You will find in the video above that everything went as well as it could have been. We managed to get a decent weapon, Doctor Doom happened to show up right at the vault, no other teams were there to distract us, and we managed to get into the vault with no issues. It usually doesn’t go that smoothly – especially since other teams will likely try to get into the vault themselves.

When that happens, it won’t be the end of the world as you can get credit for entering the vault even if someone else opens it – but what’s the fun in that ?! If you run into problems we recommend that you try again, as the route of the bus and the position of the circle can determine how busy an area will be. Whenever possible, always coordinate with your team. If all else fails, wait for someone else to open the vault for you and quickly run inside to reap the rewards (if any are left).
