The ninth season of Fortnite is here and everything revolves around the future. Epic released the new season of its popular Battle Royale game with changes to the theme, new content in the game and other changes for the players.
When does Season 9 begin?
Fortnite Season 9 went live on May 9, after the servers were shut down for updates. When the servers were back, Epic tweeted the trailer for the season.
According to the trailer, the volcanic event on 4 May had a lasting effect on the island. The two destroyed areas, Tilted Towers and Retail Row, are now being replaced by futuristic versions of the Neo Tilted and Mega Mall locations. The volcano also changed and is now known as the Pressure Plant.
Epic tweeted on May 14 that the first official release, version 9.01, would be at 1 am on May 15.
Be a first-hand user when the update for version 9.01 tomorrow, May 15, is released.
The Fortnite v9.10 update went live on May 22 and featured a new crossover with Nike named FortniteXJumpman . Players can buy new skins adorned with high-powered Air Jordan 1 skins and play in the new time-limited Downtown Drop mode.
Season 9 will last the next 10 weeks and then Fortnite Season 10 will kick off on August 1st, according to Fortnite Intel fansite.
What's new?
As the Season 9 Fortnite trailer clearly shows, there are two new areas to discover: Neo Tiled Towers and Mega Mall. Players who know the island like the back of their hand need to spend some time figuring out where to raid and where to attack others, as these two places will be very popular in the early days of the new season.

Another futuristic addition: the slipstreams. These new towers are located around the Neo Tilted Towers, the Mega Mall and much of the inner island and will propel the players as they enter the windstream. Players should use these slipstreams both as a means of transport and as a means to avoid trouble. Vents were another way to get players airborne and protect them from falling damage.

Epic just added a new weapon at the beginning of Season 9: the Combat Shotgun. The semi-automatic weapon replaces the domed pump shotgun that was also removed from the game. Several other weapons, items, and items were also arched, including staples, buried treasure, poison dart trap, riflescope, suppressed assault rifle, thermal assault rifle, and balloons.
Epic also made changes to Season 9 Battle Pass Over the past few seasons, those who bought the Pass for 950 V-Bucks, or just under $ 10, have reached 100 levels to get new emotes, picks and Skins like Sentinel, Rox Progressive and for those who make money, unlock it to Tier 100, the Vendetta skin.
Something new with this Fortnite Season 9 Battle Pass is the Fortbytes. These collectable computer chips are hidden all over the island, and a new one is unlocked every day of the season. Collecting these items will assemble a picture of what Fortnite Season 10 is all about.
With these new additions, Epic made several changes to the gameplay and enhancement. The company also added new time-limited modes, such as trios, where players can form triplets, the legendary Solid Gold mode, and One Shot, where players have 50 life points and only access to sniper weapons, meaning one hit It takes to eliminate players.
After the first week of the ninth Fortnite season, Epic released the season's first update on May 15, v9.01. This includes a new weapon, the tactical assault rifle.

The automatic weapon, unlike most rifles nearby, is far more effective than it is remotely. It also has:
30-round magazine
Caused 22/23/24 damage
Headshot multiplier of 1.75x
Epic also reduces the damage of the barrel weapon that was returned from the vault " during the volcano event that started the season, many players complained about the weapon's damage, reducing it from 26/27 to 22/23.
The update to version 9.10 of May 22 added a new method to capture loot during a game: Hot Spots Random named locations on the map turn golden, meaning there are prey vehicles nearby, and these floating caches can be shot down to get a high-end weapon. 19659017] Fortnite Loot Carrier "data-original =" https://cnet2.cbsistatic.com/img/iBR7ZHfvM-UnbG_IIDnJ3sBA_Q4=/2019/05/22/312277aa-01bb-4285-a721-44fc4ac2666a/fortnotiz -v9-10- br-header-v9-10-09br-social-lootcarriers-social-1920×1080-25d273defa481d94895465bf1b0 71d8e4f90ec84.jpg “/>
A Loot Carrier was added to the Fortnite Update 19659.10 games
Other changes in version 9.10 include the reduced availability of Shadow Bombs and Combat Shotgun, and the failure of the semi-automatic sniper rifle.
In Season 9, Week 4, Epic added a new burst SMG weapon that allows players to shoot fast four-ball bursts.
Epic has delayed the v9.20 update by one day and plans to release it on Thursday, June 6th. New in the update is a Throwable called Storm Flip. If you are thrown into an area where the storm is active, a safe area is created for players that can be of great benefit, as the players who are safe can easily catch opponents who fall into the storm while they suffer damage. On the other hand, those who use a storm flip in a safe area make a small storm when they throw, inflicting damage on players inside.
However, Storm Flip is said to cause problems towards the end of the game, so players can barely see which areas are safe and which are not. Epic games on Thursday have announced that the item will be deactivated during the World Cup this weekend and in Arena Mode.
Other changes in the version 9.20 update include changes to loot drops and vaulting of all hunter rifles.
The v9.21 update, released on June 12, features the new proximity grenade launcher that deals damage to enemies near the projectile.
The update also had changes to the weapon balance, especially the new Storm Flip item, which is now harder to find and does less damage.
Also included in version 9.21 was a new time-limited mode called Horde Rush. The new mode is a four-player co-op with its own challenges starting on June 13th.
The Fortnite Celebrity Pro-Am competition took place on June 16, when 50 of the world's best Fortnite players joined forces to celebrate 50 celebrities. During the event, Epic played a trailer for a new Flare Gun item.
It's unclear what the Flare Gun does in the game or when it comes out.
The June 18th update v9.30 added a new healing item created to support a squad named Chug Splash. When used, the rare six-pack consumables create a splash that heals all the allies nearby.
As with any new update, data miners were fully engaged in checking each file for new items that could be added in a future update. They discovered assets for a new drum-gun variant called Drum Shotgun.
The drum weapon was a controversial weapon when it came out, as it was considered too powerful for matches. It was soon removed from the game or vaulted, but not domed during the eighth season Fortnite event. This new drum shotgun will be released in the coming weeks before Fortnite Season 9 comes to an end.
Epic released a content update for update 9.30 on Tuesday, June 25th. The patch marks the beginning of Fortnite 14 Days of Summer which dispose of a new weapon every day and offer new challenges and time-limited modes.
The weapons not used in this update include the Pump Shotgun, the Shockwave Grenade, the Suppressed SMG, the Revolver, the Tactical Shotgun, the Burst SMG, the SemiAuto Sniper Rifle, the FlintKnock Pistol, the Infantry Rifle, the Minigun, the Heavy Assault Rifle and the DrumGun. The rare tactical assault rifle, the impulse grenades, the rift-to-go and the pirate cannon were vaulted in the patch.
A second content patch for version 9.30 was released on July 2nd. It was a minor update that added a new weapon, the Drum Shotgun.
does not have as much power as the drums it shoots much faster.
Epic Games
The drum shotgun has 12 clips and is available in common, rare and rare variants. What he lacks in power compared to other shotguns makes up for how fast he can shoot.
Fortnite v9.30 content update # 3 was released on Tuesday, July 9th. As with the previous content updates, a new item has been added, and the Air Strike is a throwing object where rockets must rain down on enemies.
Air Strike is a legendary throw object that emits a colored smoke that causes 20 missiles to strike randomly within a radius of nine meters. Players can find the new item in chests, storage containers, vending machines and store llamas.
Fortnite players should expect more content, modes, weapons, skins, and eventually hints for next season.
Hidden Secrets and Easter Eggs
Epic tends to add clues and Easter eggs on the island that indicate upcoming events or the next season. A less subtle example in the ninth Fortnite season is the addition of a building in Paradise Palms that is strikingly similar to the house from the John Wick films .

A data miner also discovered a number of challenges for a time-limited mode called Wick's Bounty (WAX). This event began on May 16, just before the third entry into the franchise, John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum which opened in the cinemas.
To reinforce John Wick's fire, the Fortnite v9.01 update released a series of data miner films. The first is the new John Wick outfit with a secondary style called "Damaged".
Another data miner found in the v9.01 update more information on the time-limited Wick's Bounty mode. The new mode will have an infinite number of spawns and players will have to collect coins from other players that are most likely to fall when eliminated.
There is also a new skin called "Sofia", as Halle Berry's figure in John Wick is called: Chapter 3 – Parabellum. The data miner found that the head is temporary and could change when the skin officially goes into operation in the future.
On Friday, June 28, Epic completed the John Wick set with the official release of the Sofia outfit. This time based on Halle Berry's look in the movie. Players can buy the new skin at the Fortnite Item Shop for 1,500 V buck or approximately $ 15.
Another subtle reference in Fortnite, Season 9, is a store front called Scoops Ahoy, the Ice Cream Parlor in Stranger Things . Chris Lee, director of interactive games at Netflix, said on June 12 on an E3 panel that the company had plans for a Stranger Things Crossover in the coming weeks. The third season of the Netflix series was released on July 4 in the second half of Fortnite Season 9.
Just in time for the premiere of the show, players saw the next step in the crossover "Fortnite Stranger Things" on Wednesday, July 3rd. Portals all over the island looked like they came from Upside Down.

There are several portals. When you enter one, the players are transported to another.
Just in time for the release of the third season of Stranger Things, Epic unveiled the crossover of Fortnite X Stranger Things on July 4th.
The crossover event included skins based on Chief Hopper and Demogorgon, available at the Fortnite Item. Shop for a limited time.
In the update for version 9.10 added to the game on May 22, players at Polar Peak found something strange. There is a block of ice that trembles as the wind comes out of the cracks. It almost looks like something is hidden inside. This could be the beginning of the event, which could mean the transition to Fortnite Season 10.
On May 28, Fortnite players visiting Polar Peak saw something new in the form of a giant eyeball. The scary eye tracks the player's movements in front of it.
On June 6th there was a big change on Polar Peak. The block of ice with a monster is broken and participates in the Ice Castle. Huge footprints can be seen as they move away towards the Viking village.
The Polar Peak monster is still moving, but this time in the water. The players have seen remnants of the castle, which were destroyed by the huge animal that swam in the waters around the island.
Another sign of destruction by the Polar Peak monster appeared on June 16. The players saw the modern house in Pleasant Park on a pile of rubble.
There's no reason or rhyme for where the Polar Peak monster will appear next, but it's likely to be the trigger for changes on Fortnite Island Season 10.
After the downtime for update 9.30 on June 18, Fortnite players have signed up with Snobby Shores and found something new: a large neon triangle.
With Fortnite Season 9 only weeks away, these strange additions to the island are usually signs of an upcoming event. The triangle is not nearly as big as the mysterious cube from 2018, but it could change very soon to end the season.
From 2 July, players at Pressure Plant saw something strange. It seems someone builds a giant robot that resembles the 'Mechs in the Gundam series. So far, only the feet and a part of a leg have been built.
We are currently in & # 39; Phase 2 & # 39; of the robot's construction.
The upcoming phases "http://www.cnet.com/" In the files "http://www.cnet.com/" are: Stage 3: Calf right Stage 4: Thigh Left Stage 5: Torso Stage 6: Biceps Left Phase 7: Biceps Right Stage 8: Underarm Left
The giant robot in Pressure Plant seems to be almost complete from 8 July The players saw that the robot's legs and torso were built only with missing arms and head.
A Data Miner found on Sunday, July 7, a picture of the countdown clock for the monster-robot fight that Fortnite player Cattus calls (the Monster) against Doggus (the robot).
The name Cattus comes from the file name for the monster in Polar Peak. Players have since named the opponent of the monster, in this case the robot, the fitting name Doggus.
This fight is apparently the final for Fortnite, Season 9.
Fortnite is available for PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PC, Android and iOS devices.
