Galaxy Note 10+ Vs. Galaxy S10 +: Comparison of Samsung's Best Mobile Phones «Android :: Gadget Hacks

Unlike many other OEMs, Samsung has two successful phone series, the Galaxy S-series and the Galaxy Note series. The latter was initially the latest technology, but in recent years, the line has been blurred. What do you get with the grade 10+ over the S10 + except for a pen? Let us compare.

For the first time since the Galaxy Note 4 and Note Edge, Samsung will release two Note Series phones simultaneously, the Galaxy Note 10 and the 10+. Thanks to an updated version of the SoC, the more expensive Galaxy Note 10+ has more to offer than you think. And for the first time in a long time, upgrading the Galaxy S10 + may be worth it.

Why You Should Opt for the Galaxy Note 10+

The Galaxy Note 10+ is almost a perfect upgrade of the Galaxy S10 +. There is no separate Bixby button, no bigger screen, no better SoC, no bigger battery and much more. For someone looking for the best, this is for the moment.

Let's start with the ad. The 10+ has the same award-winning Infinity-O Dynamic AMOLED display, but is now 0.5 inches larger. It has the same resolution of 1440p, still supports HDR10 + and can still take advantage of the permanent display.

But that's just a small change. Where the Galaxy Note 10+ shines, the Battery Department specifies exactly how fast it can charge. The Touch 10+ has improved both wired and wireless charging. The cable can now use a 45W charger (three times the performance of the Galaxy S10 + charger). This charger costs $ 60. However, the supplied charger in the box is already upgraded to 25W. If you're a fan of wireless charging, you can use a 20W quick charger that is a 5W upgrade from the Galaxy S10 +.

And for those who love taking pictures, the Galaxy Note 10+ has a better camera. The algorithm has not only been improved for even better images with the same lens, but also includes the same lens as the highest version of the Galaxy S10 series, the Galaxy S10 5G. This variant had a ToF sensor (Time of Flight) to capture the depth of field in a scene.

And finally there is the S-Pen. The updated pen has even more gestures for remotely controlling your phone and is more accurate than ever. Whether you are creative or prefer to use your phone remotely, you should be able to get the most out of the S-Pen.

Why you should opt for the Galaxy S10 +

The main advantage of the Samsung Galaxy S10 + is the cost. You save at least $ 200 for nearly identical performance. I say minimum, as it is currently not sold on EIA. At the moment Amazon has it under $ 800, which further improves the savings.

It is also smaller. With the smaller screen come smaller dimensions. The bigger the phones become, the harder it becomes to manage them in one hand. The Galaxy S10 + is shorter, lighter and easier to handle. Its screen is smaller, but has the same resolution for better pixel density.

Probably the Biggest Reason To get the Galaxy S10 +, it's one of Samsung's last flagship phones to feature a headphone jack. In fact, it is one of the few flagship phones to run a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 (the SoC of choice for Android smartphones from 2019) with Audioport. It has the same maximum storage and storage options. It supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5. It ships with the same version of Android and has the same stereo speakers. It also has a ToF sensor for the front camera, so self-portrait photos are better thanks to improved depth mapping.
