Gmail's new scheduling feature should now have arrived in your account. If you have not used it, you are missing. This new tool will keep you from sending emails on Saturday night. Instead, you just look like you've got a really productive, Venti Latte-powered computer on Monday morning.

With the new schedule sending tools, emails can be sent to a specific day and time You do not have to save the message as a draft and remember to send it later. It's very similar to Boomerang if you used this browser extension, but it's built right into Gmail, making it a million times more useful. You can schedule emails up to 49 years in advance (a great way to say Happy Birthday every year.)

Planning your emails for future submission is useful if you:

  • Your e I do not want to be the joke sending a job on a Saturday
  • You want to look thoughtful (through a friend's birthday) or productive (by sending emails to a computer at 8:00 am Monday morning)

Planning Gmail messages now works through your personal and business accounts. Look for the arrow above the "Submit" button in the browser or after the three stacked points in the app.

This is how you start.
