Google has also spilled the beans on pricing. Stadia players can subscribe to the service for $ 10 a month or use the service for free by purchasing individual games. The service of Google works much like Netflix, where you stream games to your devices. Google's data center handles all processing. And Google will have a Stadia game controller that connects to Google's services via Wi-Fi, and has special buttons for sharing gameplay on YouTube and for calling game support through a Google Assistant button.
For Apple, the introduction of games is part of a larger effort to deliver services tied to its hardware. Theand even Apple Music are compelling reasons to keep the Apple world loyal and use an Apple device. Google is about the cloud, and the game platform shows its strengths. So players can participate in cloud-based games and then share the gameplay via YouTube.
Google – much more than Apple – is slowly filling in details about its gaming subscription service. So we have many more questions than answers that are appropriate for your style of play and would give you more for your money. But here's what we do about the gaming platforms – and do not know yet.
When they come
Google said in a pre-E3 announcement that they will be able toby joining the Stadia Founder's Edition for $ 129 pre-order. If you want to play individual games without subscription, you have to wait until 2020.
Apple has confirmed at WWDC that Arcade will be available this year.
Google has commissioned Stadia at GDC for congress participants to play. In the short time I could play a game over Stadia, the service seemed solid and I could not say I wanted to stream a game instead of playing it locally.
Late last year, we got a glimpse of the service when Google.
How much they will cost
Apple admitted that its service will be available through a subscription without in-app purchases. But there was no price.

At the starter level, you can play Stadia Base for free on Stadia by purchasing only a few games for a resolution of 1080p. The prices for individual games were not announced by Google.
For $ 10 a month, you can subscribe to Stadia Pro, which gives you access to some games for free and others that you can purchase for games up to 4K and 60 frames per second. Stadia offers discounts on selected games. Again, there is no word on prices or discounts.
And to start the pump, you can preorder the Stadia Founder's Edition, a limited edition $ 130 package that allows you to access the service in November, a limited edition controller, a Chromecast Ultra streaming device, three months of Stadia Pro, a three-month buddy pass that lets you have someone to play with, and the first attempt to claim your Stadia name.
We do not know what happens to games you've bought discounted with a Stadia Pro account when you switch to a Stadia base account. And we do not know what happens if you own a game in another service and want to play it in Stadia.
What can you play with it?
The Google Streaming Game Service runs on a Chrome browser, on a TV connected to a Chromecast Ultra-Streaming device, and on the Pixel 3 and 3a phones. Google said it will add support for more phones. Apple's Arcade runs on the iPhone ($ 1,000 on Amazon) on the iPad ($ 249 on Walmart) on the Mac and Apple TV ($ 169 on Walmart) .
What about controllers?

Who will develop the games?
Google is working with a number of game developers, including Ubisoft and ID Software, to provide games for Stadia. At its pre-E3 event, Google showed a dozen games in stadiums, including
At the GDC, Ubisoft showed Assassin's Creed: Odyssey and ID Doom Eternal in stadiums. Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed: Odyssey has been on Google since Stadia was still known as Project Stream.you played it last year.
Google also opens its own gaming studio, but has not published any details about the games that are currently in progress. In Stadia there are exclusive games and games that are available elsewhere.
Apple said that all arcade games are exclusive to the new program and are not available on other mobile devices or as part of other subscription services. Arcade will feature games from Annapurna Interactive, Bossa Studios, Cartoon Network, Finji, Giant Squid, Klei Entertainment, Konami, Lego, Mistwalker Corporation, Sega, Snowman and Ustwo. Apple is also entering the game design business, stating that it adds to the development costs of games being put into service.
Which service is for you?
It's too early to say for sure. However, if you like console games and have a good internet connection, Stadia may fit in well with its controller-driven service. If you're casual or interested in indie games, Apple's approach may be a better choice. The arcade support for Microsoft Xbox One S ($ 279 on Amazon) and PlayStation DualShock 4 certainly makes the decision more interesting.
