One of the biggest touch-points of iOS 12 is the group FaceTime – Video chats with up to 32 people have been a very special challenge, and many iOS users are thrilled. Unfortunately, Apple has confirmed that FaceTime will not be included in iOS 12 at startup, allowing users to chat in person longer.
Apple did not announce the bad news publicly in the traditional way – developers were the first to find out when Apple snuck the note into the release notes of the seventh iOS 12 developer beta on Monday, August 13th. Of course, these messages would not fly under the radar.
According to the excerpt In the beta release notes, Apple will release the group FaceTime as part of a software update sometime in the fall. Not only do we have a release date for iOS 1
In the meantime, there are many other new features that are worth downloading iOS 12 for. Grouped notifications, new Animoji, a way to measure real objects with your iPhone, and Siri Shorcuts, are just a few of the winning changes that will come to your iPhone this fall.
