Answer: Mr. Rogers

Horror director and producer George A. Romero, best known for his classic zombie films Night of the Living Dead Dawn of the Dead and Day of the Dead as well as other films including The Crazy Creepshow and The Dark Half were originally the directors of healthier films.

In the early 1

960s, Romero began making short films for the legendary children's show Mister Rogers' Neighborhood . Romero, like everyone else involved with Fred Rogers, had nothing but bright things to say about him. In an interview with the 2010 San Francisco Chronicle, Romero shared his memory and respect for Rogers:

He was a beautiful guy. He was the cutest man I ever knew. What you see is what you get. That was Fred. In a way, he was 10 years old. He was a rich man, but very dedicated. He was a super-rich cat – he could just say, "Forget it." But he was anxious to raise children and tell them, "There is nothing wrong with you." I like you the way you are. "

Perhaps even lovelier was Rogers's support of Romero in the screening of his early horror films.
