Google announced Mondayis now Android Pie. Google also unveiled Android Pie is now available for users. The update includes new features such as the official support for cutouts – is here – and other enhancements designed to make it easier for developers to use apps.
As usual, the first version of Android Pie will be available for Google devices, later in 2018, with other devices from the company's hardware partners. Here is the latest list of compatible Android devices that are authorized to install Android Pie:
Installing the update, whether or not you have participated in the Android Beta program, is easy. Open the App Settings with a Wi-Fi connection and a charged battery in your Pixel smartphone, and then go to About the Telephone > System Updates > Check for Update > Download and install. Your phone should find the update and then start downloading and possibly installing the update. The whole process takes about 30 minutes, depending on your internet connection.
