The Alexa-capable $ 199 RING DOOR PICTURE ($ 1
The installation is different from any other bell I've tested before, but it's much simpler. Let's go through the process step by step and have a look at the gallery below to get detailed pictures of each step.

1. First, charge the battery so that it is ready after installing the rest of the doorbell.
. 2 Use the small metal key "Door View" to loosen your current peephole from the inside of your door. In the peephole are fine notches in which you should put the door view key. Keep turning to release the peephole. You may want someone on the other side of the door to hold or "catch" the front of the peephole.
. 3 Remove both sides of the peephole and set aside.
. 4 Connect the outer part of the door view camera to the peephole opening and push through the new peephole.
. 5 If the peephole opening is larger than that on the door-view camera, use the ring peephole extender. It's in the box, though I did not have to use it on this door.
. 6 Install the inner part of the door view cam by connecting the base plate section of the inner support to the door. It is helpful to hold the camera from the outside.
. 7 Remove the connection cable from the peephole. The connection cable is already attached to the door view camera and should be easy to remove.
. 8 From the inside of the door, place the "lock nut" on the peephole by turning it clockwise.
. 9 Connect the connection cable to the base plate and insert the battery (if fully charged).
10th Align the faceplate with the baseplate and press until it connects. The front panel has a built-in privacy screen.
And that's it – you're done with the initial installation. The steps are different than other ringtones, but it is a simple process that requires no power tools, screwdrivers, or other equipment.
But you are not quite finished yet. Make sure you download the Ring app to set up your camera, including connecting to your local Wi-Fi network and adjusting the settings.
