If you own an iPhone or iPad (especially one whose children use your device), you may want to block access to a particular Web site. Regardless of whether this site is for adults or just something, you do not want your kids to be able to access it easily. Blocking specific websites on an iPhone or iPad only takes a few steps.
We'll go over how to make sure that a particular website is not accessible in Safari. This process has changed recently with the release of iOS 1
Go into the settings app, scroll down a little and tap on "Screen" Time option.
Then tap "Content Privacy & Restrictions." Touch Content Limits to continue.
On the Content Restrictions page, tap the Web Content option. You may notice that the message is "Full Access", but you will be changing it soon.
Do not worry. They are almost done.
Next, enable the "Limit adult sites" option, which is required before you can block certain sites. Tap on "Add website" at the bottom of the screen. Here you enter the URL of the website you want to block.
On the Add Website page, enter the URL of the site you want to block, and then tap Done keyboard.
At this point, you're done and the site is locked. You can test this by going to Safari and trying to access the site in question. If everything went to plan, an error similar to this one will be displayed.
If you want to add more sites, return to the same place and add more. If you want to remove one at a later time, swipe over the URL and tap "Delete."
