Although we should not count on it, we always have to press the snooze button to get a few extra minutes of precious sleep. Depending on which OEM skin is running on your device, this can take five or 10 additional minutes. However, some of us need a different time.
In the 1950s, when Schlummer was first invented, 10 minutes were considered too long, as people would fall asleep again. We now know that it is much more complicated than that and depending on whether someone is a light sleeper or a heavy sleeper, so the standard slumber length of five or ten minutes may not be right for you. Fortunately, the clock app on our smartphones gives us complete customization and lets us choose exactly the length we need for our sleep.
Android in stock (Pixel, Motorola, Nokia, Essential, etc.)
Changing the default snooze length is pretty easy in stock Android. Because it is the clock app developed by Google, the same procedure applies to all skins that come pre-installed with this app.
Open the Clock app and select the three vertical dots in the upper right corner of the screen. For a different time than the default 1
Unlike Android, Samsung doesn I do not have a global slumber length modifier. Instead, the snooze length is configured for each alarm set. Open the Clock app and select an alarm listed under Alarms . Select the "Snooze" option to adjust the duration of the snooze.
LG UX (LG)
Just like Samsung Experience, LG has no global snooze length modifier. Select one of the alarms listed under the Alarms tab in your watch app. Select "Sleep Duration" and then a new length (the default length is 5 minutes).
MiFavor UI, the skin running on ZTE devices, also contains no global snooze modifier. Therefore, each alarm slumber length must be configured individually. Open the clock app and select the alarm you want to change. Select "Snooze" to select a time greater than the default 5 minutes.
When the Watch app is open on your OnePlus device, select the three vertical dots in the top right corner to "snooze length" to the length on something other than the default 5 Minutes to set. This setting applies to all existing and future alarms.
If you own a Huawei or Honor device, open the Watch app and select the Alarms tab. Select the three vertical dots in the upper right corner and choose "Settings". Select "Snooze Duration" and choose a new snooze length from the list.

Regardless of the skin, changing the snooze duration is pretty easy. While it is fairly common that you should not use the slumber button, as with any habit, it takes time to break. In the meantime, you can enjoy the extra few minutes of sleep, whether you need a minute or two or more than ten.
