Android is all about customization, but many devices still have fixed icon sizes. If resizing is possible, the option will normally be hidden in an unknown location in your preferences. You might want them to be bigger so you can see them better, or you might want to make them smaller so they fit better on the screen.

If you like the standard Android experience, you will like to know that Google Now Launcher has a feature to enlarge symbols. This works on every Pixel phone, as well as on many other third-party handsets that already integrate the official Google interface.
Just go to your settings, choose "Display," press "Advanced," and tap "Display Size." Here you can make icons larger or smaller than usual. The only problem with this option is that changes not only the size of the icons, but also the size of all other elements of the phone, including text and other screen elements.
Those who are not satisfied with this solution have other options.
Change icon size on Android – Third-Party Startup Programs
Many third-party startup programs allow you to change icon sizes, raster layouts, and more, and we recommend some starters for those who want more control over their icons (and the UI as a whole).  Changing the icon size on Android – Samsung phones with TouchWiz
If you have a Samsung own Android smartphone, it comes with its own TouchWiz user interface. In this way, these phones can, among other things, change the icon size without the use of a third-party launcher. If you want to make this change on your Samsung phone, just touch and hold a blank space on the home screen, and then tap the Home screen settings icon. There should be two choices: Home screen and Apps screen.
Tapping one of these options displays a number of options that allow you to change the ratio of apps on your phone's home screen and on the Apps screen. This also changes the size of these apps. Depending on which phone you own, you can choose between 4 × 4, 4 × 5, 5 × 5, and 5 × 6 for the splash screen, while the screen ratio is more limited to 4 × 6 and 5 × 6 ,  Summary
