How to Change the Echo Show and Echo Spot Home Page
Customizing the Home screen on the Echo Show or Spot is mostly straightforward.
- Swipe from top to bottom Display and Selection Settings (the gear icon)

Regardless of the selected category, there are several configurations to choose from. One of the more unique and sly watches available is Orbit (found in the Playful category). The default orbital dial shows the standard hour markers and has three planets that "move" around the face. The smallest planet is the second hand, the middle-sized planet is the minute hand, and the largest is the hour hand.
If you select Personal Photos you must either sign up for Prime Photos or use the Alexa app. You can select different photos from your Prime Photos account directly through the speaker by going to Settings> Home & Clock> Clock> Personal Photos> Background> Upload Photos . However, if you would like to upload a photo directly from your phone, select Alexa App Photo instead of Prime Photos . Open the Alexa app and download the page at Settings> [Your Echo Show/Spot]> Home screen background select a photo and tap Upload . After a few seconds, the photo will appear as a wallpaper on your Alexa speaker.
How to Change What's Displayed on the Echo Show or Spot Home Screen
Your echo show or echo spot can show you more information just the time of course. This information is referred to as Home Cards . To select which maps are displayed on the home screen, swipe down from the home screen and select Settings . Go to Home & Clock> Home Cards .
The following maps can be viewed on the home screen:

This menu allows You select whether the maps are displayed continuously while you only view the clock periodically or when new information is available.
Echo Show and Echo Spot Night Mode
If you hold an echo show or echo spot by your bedside, you probably do not want all the information displayed at full brightness throughout the night. Instead of manually adjusting the brightness when you go to bed, activate the night mode.
Enter this setting by going to Settings> Home & Clock> Night Mode . Tap to activate Night Clock . And underneath, you can set a schedule when to turn off the clock face and when to turn off the night clock every day.
