The Windows 10 update from October 2018 contains "suggestion" banners or tiles that appear in the Settings app. You can simply disable them if you do not want to see them.
To turn these suggestions off, go to Settings> Privacy> General. Click the button under "Show suggest content in App Settings" to disable this feature.
If you want to re-enable the proposals in the future, go back here and re-enable the switch.
Sometimes, but not always, these suggestions appear in the Settings app with recommendations for settings that you may want to change. For example, we saw a banner that suggested turning on the Nightlight feature so you could better read your screen at night.
Other suggestions might highlight apps in the future. We only hope that Microsoft will not use these suggestions for advertising. Microsoft has used other "suggestion" features in Windows 10 to insert advertisements in the past. Windows 10 contains too many integrated displays.
