How to display hidden passwords

Show Hidden Passwords in Chrome:

  1. Open any website and let your manager enter a password.
  2. Right-click on the text box with the password.
  3. Select "Inspect element. "
  4. Search for the text" Input Type = Password ".
  5. Replace "password" with "text".
  6. Your password is displayed!

Show Hidden Passwords in Firefox:

  1. Open Right-click the text box with the password.
  2. Select "Check Item".
  3. When the bar with the highlighted password field appears, press Alt + M or click the Markup Panel button.
  4. A line of code is displayed. Replace "password" with "text".

Note that these changes are not lost. Make sure "Text" is replaced by "Password" so future users may not see your private information.


Show Hidden Passwords in Manager Settings

Show hidden passwords in Chrome:

  1. Press the 3-Dot Menu button in the upper-right corner of your browser.
  2. Choose Settings.

  5. You will be asked for your password. Enter it.
  6. The password is displayed.

Show Hidden Passwords in Firefox:

  1. Click the Firefox menu button. Then select Options> Options
  2. . In the options, select the Security tab and click Saved Passwords.
  3. A box will appear with your usernames and hidden passwords. To display hidden passwords, simply click the "Show Passwords" button.
  4. You will be asked if you really want this. Click "Yes."

Show Hidden Passwords with Third-Party Software

Many third-party apps and extensions display hidden passwords. Some good ones are the extensions ShowPassword and Show Hidden Password Chrome. However, a quick search leads you to many other options.
