If your Fitbit dies during a workout or does not register excellent sleep, it can be a frustrating experience.
Batteries deteriorate over time, which is an unfortunate fact of the technology-savvy lifestyle. However, there are a few settings you can change to squeeze as much juice out of your fitness tracker as possible. Here are some tricks to try.
Switching to a simple dial
The dial of a Fitbit can have a significant impact on the battery: A more demanding screen can take days out of its life.
Make sure the Fitbit app is downloaded and paired with your device.
In the Fitbit app, tap your profile picture in the upper left corner.
Tap the icon labeled "Dials". Select "All clocks". ”
From here you can search the watch faces that Fitbit has to offer. Generally, brighter faces drain the battery faster. You also want to avoid designs with animations or those that use Wi-Fi all the time (e.g. faces that show the weather). If you're not sure where to start, look for something dark and boring. I can use the stats face created by Fitbit very well.
Click Select on the dial you want. You will likely need to give him permission to use the Internet and run background processes before installing it.
After the face is downloaded, check your Fitbit screen ̵
1; it should be there.
To return to a previous watch face, go back to the "Watch faces" section in the Fitbit app and select "My Versa 2" (or the device you are using). Here you can see all the dials you have used in the past and can switch between them.
It is useful for some users if your Fitbit buzz is shown every time they call or text, but not for all users functionality. Turn off notifications you don't want to extend your Fitbit's battery life.
Click the profile icon in the upper left corner of the app.
