How to Flag Important Reminders in iOS 13 to Make It Easier to Find "iOS & iPhone :: Gadget Hacks



Reminders may have received the biggest update of all native Apple apps on iOS 13. Among other things, the new reminder app now includes a wealth of smart lists to make things easier to find, and a flagging feature that helps you improve them Manage your most important memories.

If you have reminders that take precedence over others, this new feature sets a flag next to them. With a visual ad, you know what's important at a glance. Best of all, reminders are also displayed in a separate smart list to find only the most relevant and recent reminders.

Step 1: Flag a reminder

You can flag a reminder in one of the following three ways: 1

.) Using the new Quick Launch bar, 2.) On the Details page, or 3.) Right in the Smart List "marked". In this step we show you the first two methods (the third one is saved for the next step).

The first and fastest way to mark a reminder is to tap it to bring up the keyboard, and then tap the flag icon in the new Quick Launch (left). The second way to mark a reminder is to do so on the Details page. Tap on the reminder, then on the "i" icon, and finally scroll down and check the button next to "Marked" (right).

Step 2: Find Selected Reminders

After your memories are now highlighted, you can access it more easily via one of the four smart lists existing on the main screen of Reminders. Just open reminders and tap the "Marked" smart list to see all your highlighted reminders.

Remember, as we have mentioned, there is a third way to mark your memories? In addition to displaying your highlighted reminders, you can also create highlighted reminders directly in the "Selected" smart list. At the bottom of the Smart list, tap New reminder and create a reminder. This will not only create a new reminder, but will also mark it automatically.
