How to get every weapon in Resident Evil 7



In contrast to the last games in the series, Resident Evil 7 is first a horror game and then an action game. But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t worry about your arsenal – on the contrary, to survive the Baker mansion, you’ll need to master all of the game’s weapons. Axe

The ax is the first weapon you get into Resident Evil 7and you will immediately use it to fend off a very angry enemy. Unfortunately, you’ll lose it after the game’s prologue, and there is currently no known way to get it back. Even so, it will serve you well in the preparatory sections of the game.

M19 pistol

You get the M19 pistol during Resident Evil 7Prologue in the guest house, in a room near the attic. It’s on a table after your first meeting with Mia. The weapon will be taken from you shortly afterwards, but it is possible to get the weapon back later. Use a repair kit on the broken pistol that came in the trailer in the yard and you are back in business. The first available repair kit is under the porch of the main house opposite the trailer behind a sheet metal that you can pry off.

G17 pistol

M37 shotgun

The M37 shotgun is the first weapon that you could potentially miss while exploring the Baker estate. If you have access to the basement of the main house (the “processing area”), look around until you find the scorpion key. Take this to the hobby room on the second floor of the house and use it to enter Grandma’s room (watch out for Jack, who is probably patrolling this area at this point). Take the broken shotgun from there and swap it for the shotgun held by the statue in the main hall (the M37). With the M37 in your inventory and the broken shotgun in the statue’s hands, you can leave the room and continue.

The chainsaw is a powerful melee weapon that is unfortunately only available for one fight: the second encounter with Jack. Once he grabs his huge scissors, pick it up on the corpse. Unfortunately, there is currently no known way to make it outside of this struggle.

44 MAG

The magnum is accessible once you escape the baker’s main house and enter the caravan in the courtyard, provided you’ve collected enough ancient coins. It takes nine to unlock the 44, although it may not be worth it as ammo is so scarce during the game. If you want to use it, you should grab the stabilizer and / or steroids first and later in the game the magnum.

burner

The burner is a great tool for getting rid of the swarms and other insects in the old house. You will need to assemble it from parts located all over Marguerite’s territory: the torch handle is outside the Old House near the save point. It’s in a trash can next to some boxes. The burner nozzle is also outside in a small hut to the right of the large hornet’s nest. If you go through the kitchen, this little room is on the right hand side over some wooden planks. Combine them to create the burner.

Grenade launcher

The grenade launcher will be available once you find the Crow Key in the Old House annex. Take it back to the main house to unlock the door in the observation room (the room with the stuffed deer on the second floor). The grenade launcher is in there, but use it carefully as ammo is scarce.

M21 shotgun

The M21 shotgun is more powerful than the M37, although it fires fewer shells before it needs to be reloaded. Even so, it’s well worth using and you can actually get it pretty early. Once you’re out of the house, you can take the repair kit under the porch and use it on the broken shotgun in Grandma’s room. Once you’ve weighed the broken shotgun down on the statue in the main hall to grab the M37, you can swap it out again. And if you’ve used the first repair kit on the broken gun, don’t worry – there’s another one. Take the treasure photo (showing the mannequin head) in the storage room next to the master bedroom on the second floor and locate the head in the first part of Lucas’ test area.

M19 pistol

Purchasing the M19 pistol is similar to purchasing the M21 shotgun in that it requires the repair kit. This time, use the repair kit for the broken gun in the trailer to get your hands on the M19.

MPM pistol

The MPM is the pistol you find in a drawer in the first storage room after you get on the tanker. It is your only weapon at this point, so use it well.

P19 machine gun

You will first use the machine gun during the flashback tape that you will play on the tanker as part of the story. You can get it back later when you find the captain’s locker key on the locked side of the bunk room after receiving the caustic part as part of the story. It’s on the table in the Crew’s Room on the second floor. Take the key back to the captain’s cabin on the fourth floor and use it to unlock the locker.

Survival knife

As with the machine gun, you use the survival knife in the tanker’s rear panel first, but it’s easy to find on the second floor right in front of the elevator sticking out of an overturned table. You have to climb down the elevator shaft from above to get out of the broken exit below and find the knife.

Sticky bombs

Glue bombs are a fantastic tool to destroy from the tanker Resident Evil 7. They are everywhere. Collect as many as you can. The easiest to find is the control room in the tanker area on the fourth floor.

Crowbar

The crowbar is only available for one fight – one that many players won’t even see, depending on the choice they make about three-quarters of the way through the game. Suffice it to say that it is being used well. If you choose Zoe before Mia during the boss fight, you will receive the crowbar.

Albert-01R

The Albert Pistol – its name refers to the villain of the Resident Evil series, Albert Wesker – is the most powerful pistol in the game. You will briefly use a souped-up version of it during the final boss fight, and a slightly worse version (only three in the chamber) will thankfully be automatically available in every storage box for subsequent playthroughs.

The circular saw is a powerful melee weapon that is only unlocked by beating the game in less than four hours.
