The Google Weather app is one of the best. It has a clear design, shows all important information such as wind, rain and sunrise / sunset and is free. But how can you get it on your phone because it's not listed on the Google Play Store?
Installing Google's Weather app on your phone is as easy as downloading an App from the Play Store. The process is completely different. First, open the Google app, which is preinstalled on most Android phones. If you do not have it for some reason, you can download it here.
The next step is to enter "Weather" in the Google search box, whereupon the weather information for your city will be displayed. At the top, you'll likely see a box titled "Accessing Weather Right From Your Home Screen." In this case, tap the "Add" option and then tap "Add" again when a pop-up window appears. After that, the Google Weather app will automatically be added to your home screen.
If you see the "Do not access the weather directly from your Home screen" box, tap the icon in the upper-right corner of the Weather widget screen (three vertical dots), select the "Shortcut to Home" option Add "and finish the process by tapping" Add "when the pop-up is displayed. The Google Weather app will automatically appear on your home screen.
