Customization of the lock screen, status bar, and other aspects of the Galaxy user interface is usually required by root. Fortunately, Samsung has reintroduced a well respected app that gives you the freedom to customize parts of your Galaxy interface in a few easy steps.
Galaxy fans gushed about Good Lock in 2016, only to be disappointed when it became unusable as nougat rolled out. Fast forward to the present, and Good Lock has reappeared, giving you the ability to remove icons in the status bar, adjust the quick settings panel, prevent accidental touches along the edge screen, and more.
Good Lock 2018 will work on most newer Galaxy phones ̵
Step 1: Install Good Lock 2018
Good Lock is free to install on your Galaxy, remember that your device must be running on Android 8.0 Oreo for the app to work.
To install the app, open the Galaxy Apps app that you can find in the app tray. From there look for "Good Lock 2018" and select the top result. Then tap on "Install".
