When you join two presentations together, you can save time by using existing slides. The transition is almost seamless and gives the illusion of a single presentation. To Link PowerPoint Presentations Together:
Note that both presentations must be in the same folder to link them together. Moving or renaming the second file after creating the link causes the slide to crash.
Linking two presentations is not magic, but as easy as pasting and clicking on a hyperlink. With this trick, you can insert a link into an object or text from Presentation A that will take you to a specific Slide of Presentation B while you are still in Presentation mode.
After you open and navigate the first slide show Select the text or object in the slide you want to link to from where you want to place the hyperlink.
If you have not inserted an object yet, you can do so by selecting one of the options in "Images" or "Illustrations" on the "Insert" tab, and then selecting the object you want to insert.

After selection, go to the Links group on the Insert tab and select Action.
Now you are at "Act Ion Settings" -Menu. Select the option "Hyperlink to" here. After selection, you can open the drop-down menu below. Do this and then choose "Other PowerPoint Presentation".
If you select this option, File Explorer (Windows) or Finder (macOS) will open. Select the presentation to which you would like to link here. Click the OK button".
Next, you'll see a list of slides from the presentation to which you're creating a link. Select the slide you want to switch to, and click OK.
The file path of the second presentation is now displayed under "". Hyperlink to ". When you are done, click on the "OK" button.
Your hyperlink will now be inserted into the selected text or object. To make sure it's inserted correctly, hover your mouse over the text or object, and the file path will be displayed.
If you want to verify that you have pointed out the correct presentation, you can press Ctrl while clicking
If you're playing PowerPoint in presentation mode, just click the linked text or linked object to get a seamless transition from the first presentation to the second.
