Android and Apple have long provided people with the ability to remotely track and deactivate their gadgets. Microsoft also joined the club by having your Windows PC tracked and blocked using Find my Device on Windows 1
Find My Device uses your device location information to help you find a lost or stolen device. You can use the same service to make sure the device is locked so nobody can use it, and to show information about how people can return it to you.
The device must meet some requirements The function:
- It must be connected to the Internet.
- You must have already turned on the "Find my device" option on the PC.
- You must have an account on the device that has administrator privileges and is a Microsoft account. This is not possible with a local user account.

How to Lock Your Windows 10 PC Remotely
Open a Microsoft Outlook Web browser, enter your password, and click Sign In.

On the next page, click "Search My Device."
If the location of your device is in an unexpected location, click Lock to begin locking your device.
Lock Your Device Logs off all active users and disables local user accounts. Click on Continue".
On the next screen, you can set up a custom message to assist people in returning your device. The message will be displayed on the lock screen of your device when someone turns on the device.
