I loved my Lite-Brit as a child. It was only a small matter to use these little colorful pencils to make my own designs, and it's not exactly a secret that kids love everything that lights up (LED sneakers, anyone?). How to combine the fun of the old school of Lite-Brite with pumpkin carving?
Of course with a dazzled pumpkin lantern .
Jen at Epbot had this enchanting idea using a foam pumpkin (also known as Funkin) and glass gemstones and pearls to create a lite-British To create a feeling. She printed out a sample and stuck it on the pumpkin. Then she drilled holes in the shape of the pattern with a nail.
Once the outline was there, she used a Dremel tool to chisel deep lines into the pumpkin. For the spirals, Jen drilled holes the same size as the gems so they fit tightly into the pumpkin and remain embedded in it.
